Morigerati

A canyon covered with lush vegetation to visit along a path that winds its way from the historic center along a stream with springs, waterfalls, an ancient mill to the cave where you can witness the resurgence of the Bussento river. The Oasis is located within a Site of Community Importance (SIC IT8050016) in the Municipality of Morigerati (Sa).

The area covers approximately 607 hectares within the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park and is also on the world list of Geoparks. The Morigerati Oasis is a “main” geosite for the significant karst phenomenon.
